This two-hour class will be personalized coaching in a small-group setting and will cover the terrain from traditional publishing to hybrid and indie options. We'll discuss the timeline, hidden costs, and risks as they would affect YOUR book.
Class meets Tuesday, January 15 from 10:30am—12:30pm in the Focus Lounge at the Hivery in Mill Valley. Class cost is $75 and enrollment is limited to four participants.
About the facilitators:
Tarja Parssinen began her career in traditional publishing as a National Sales Account Manager for Random House. Janine Kovac was the conference coordinator for Litquake’s digital publishing conference, digi.lit, and curates Litquake’s annual Pursuit of Publishing panels. Between the two of them, Tarja and Janine have midwifed nine indie-published books over the last five years. These projects that have included anthologies, memoirs, passion projects, and inspirational self-help guidance.
