November: Regenerative Writing Wednesdays

Looking for your writer's groove?

It’s NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and we’ve got a month of Regenerative Writing Wednesdays (and one Monday) to help your word count!

Tap into your creative subconscious with this four-session workshop in the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method with Moxie Road Productions, facilitated by Janine Kovac.

Perfect for fiction and memoir writers of all levels.

Workshop dates: November 7, 14, MONDAY 19*, and 28 from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Inspiration Lab at the Hivery in Mill Valley.

* Note that Thanksgiving week we’ll meet on MONDAY, instead of Wednesday.

This class is open to six participants.

Want to take the class but can’t commit to four sessions? We get it. November is a tough month! Check out our single-class option.

The Amherst Writers & Artists’ philosophy

is simple: every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment. AWA workshops follow a proven method that affirms writers by building confidence, creating an atmosphere of equal exploration, and protecting confidentiality.

About the facilitator: Janine Kovac

Janine Kovac has been a certified teacher of the AWA method since 2013. Elements of her book SPINNING: Choreography for Coming Home were originally written in the AWA workshops taught by Cary Tennis and by AWA founder Pat Schneider. She credits AWA with helping her establish a solid writing routine and finding homes for the little stories that get lodged in her brain.
