September: Regenerative Writing Wednesdays

Looking for your writer's groove?

Our AWA Regenerative Writing Wednesdays comes back to the Inspiration Lab at the Hivery this September!

Our Wednesday series will focus on CHARACTER.

Who’s in your stories? What are they thinking? Who are they? Let’s find out!

Tap into your creative subconscious with this month-long writing workshop in the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method with Moxie Road Productions, facilitated by Janine Kovac.

Perfect for fiction and memoir writers of all levels.

Workshop dates: September 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Hivery in Mill Valley.

This class is open to six participants.

The Amherst Writers & Artists’ philosophy

is simple: every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment. AWA workshops follow a proven method that affirms writers by building confidence, creating an atmosphere of equal exploration, and protecting confidentiality.

About the facilitator: Janine Kovac

Janine Kovac has been a certified teacher of the AWA method since 2013. Elements of her book SPINNING: Choreography for Coming Home were originally written in the AWA workshops taught by Cary Tennis and by AWA founder Pat Schneider. She credits AWA with helping her establish a solid writing routine and finding homes for the little stories that get lodged in her brain.
